December 10th, 2017
As of DECEMBER 6TH, 2017 the writing for our upcoming full-length album, entitled: ASCEND THROUGH FLESH is finally complete. It will contain 8 tracks, four of which are new songs and the rest from the demos. I began writing this album shortly after I had finished our first demo REBORN IN DEATH which was at the end of 2013. I didn't pick the writing process back up until July 2016 and pushed myself to finish the record. The new songs have a different feel from the demos but are unique in their own ways. I kept the death metal sound but the listener will notice a departure at times into different musical styles. I think though that you'll like what you hear.

I'm happy to say that Death Switch will continue as a creative identity and band from here on out. We have a lot of exciting things to announce for 2018 and we are also in the process of getting shows booked for the year as well. We are looking forward to getting back out into the music world and sharing the stage with other extreme metal bands and fans of METAL.

Before I end this post I want to put the call out that we are currently looking for a drummer. Anyone interested must have their own kit, be able to practice at least once a month, have an interest in death metal, and be willing to play 1-2 shows per month. Please contact us using the link below.

Death Switch live at the Red Hat

What's up guys, on November 8th, 2014 we played our very first gig at the Red Hat in Concord, CA and it was fucking awesome! Thank you to Andrew and Midnight Management Group for putting us on a bad ass bill with some awesome local bands. We had a couple good friends help us film the show which you can watch live on Youtube! There are also plenty of pictures to look at in the Gigs and Media section to our page, both hilarious and EVIL! We have more gig opportunities coming down the pipeline so keep an eye on our website and make it out to one! Also, grab a cassette tape while they're still free!



November 6th, 2014:

Reborn in Death Cassettes

Hey guys, cassettes are now in stock for our debut demo REBORN IN DEATH. However, due to a printing error, the reverse side of the j-card is printed backwards. We have spoke with the duplication company and they have already sent fixed j-cards. If you are at our next gig come and get a "collectors edition" of the demo for FREE! When we get the new cards we will be selling them for only $4! Check the link Gigs and Media to see when our next show is. We are also excited to announce that we have begun recording our next demo! We're heading back to the studio to re-record our debut demo and this time with real drums! We will announce more information soon and maybe even post some studio-demos. October 11th, 2014:

Death Switch 2014

Hey guys, DEATH SWITCH is now officially a full band! I am happy to announce the new members to the DEATH SWITCH family (see attached picture; left to right): Erik Hernandez (Lead Guitar), Daniel Sanchez (Bass Guitar) and Garland Hatten (Drums). We plan on recording another demo this winter and releasing it the following year. Merch is also coming very soon! July 6th, 2014:
Hey guys, we are now on rotation over at Metal Devastation Radio! Give the site a visit and just type DEATH SWITCH - REBORN IN DEATH so we could get regular airplay! We were also featured on Metal Messiah Radio recently as well as the Thrash Talk Podcast!
